Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick

I have a new favourite lipstick! When I was browsing Superdrug on my lunch break (it's starting to get dangerous working less than two minutes away from somewhere I could easily spend my whole pay cheque the day I get it) I picked up a few lipsticks from the Bourjois Rouge Edition range and it was love at first sight.

The first shade which I shoved frantically into my basket was number 11 - Fraise Remix which is a pretty pink colour. I really like the shade because it's bold enough to be noticeable and yet casual enough to wear to the office or for going to the shops. (Not that you can't wear bright blue lipstick going to the shops if that's your thing, don't let me hold you back.)

I found the point of it a bit weird at first, it's hard to explain but it's kind of thin at both sides rather than rising up into one point in the centre and when I first applied it I thought that the whole thing was going to snap off, because that's the kind of thing that would happen to me, but as I got used to it I grew to really like it because it made it easier to do the upper lips.

It glided on like an absolute dream, it was effortless to apply and while it wore off like any other lipstick would, it still left a nice remnant of colour. (Not a weird patchy stain that made my lips look weird - I'm looking at you Rimmel Provocalips.)

The other colour I got was number 15- Rouge Podium which, despite having the most boring name I've ever seen on a lipstick, is a lovely shade of red.

According to the Bourjois website these lipsticks are enriched with Orchid Blossom extract which leaves the lips hydrated for up to 10 hours. To be honest I wasn't particularly gasping over how soft my lips were 10 hours later or anything like that, but it explains why it's so nice to apply.

Their website also says that the range has been tested and approved by "fashion lovers," which is a bit of a vague term and no further information is offered on this so basically it could have been approved by literally anyone, but I'll happily let this slide because I would approve it too.

Has anyone else tried any of the Bourjois lipsticks? Let me know what you thought of them!
